Some plumbing companies grow by adding trucks. This one has grown by building a reputation — for industrial-grade work, trenchless technology expertise, and a team that shows up when it matters, including at 2 a.m. when a facility can't afford to be down. Our client is a well-established commercial and industrial plumbing contractor serving a broad multi-state footprint across Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Missouri, with capabilities spanning mechanical piping, sewer relining, municipal infrastructure, and full-scope commercial plumbing. They're looking for a Project Manager who came up through the field, still thinks like someone who did, and can lead crews on-site with the kind of authority that only comes from actually knowing the work.
What You'll Own
Manage commercial and industrial plumbing projects from pre-construction through closeout, with active presence in the field throughout execution
Directly supervise and lead plumbing crews on-site — setting the pace, solving field problems, and holding the team accountable to schedule and quality
Coordinate project sequencing, manpower deployment, and material procurement to keep jobs moving without interruption
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, GCs, and inspectors — representing the organization professionally and maintaining relationships built on trust and follow-through
Track project costs, labor hours, and job progress in real time, escalating issues before they become change orders
Ensure work is performed in compliance with applicable codes, safety standards, and project specifications
Contribute to pre-construction planning, scheduling, and scope review ahead of project kickoff
Hands-on commercial or industrial plumbing background — you came up in the trade, not through an office — and your field credibility is evident from the first conversation
Experience supervising plumbing crews directly on-site; candidates whose background is limited to subcontractor coordination or administrative project management will not be considered
Strong working knowledge of commercial and/or industrial plumbing systems, mechanical piping, and applicable codes
The ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plumbing specifications in the field
Proven track record managing multi-million dollar plumbing scopes from start to finish
Long-term commitment orientation — this organization values stability and candidates fully dedicated to the role
Familiarity with Northwest Arkansas or surrounding regional market is a plus
Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience.
Health, dental, and vision insurance (partial employer contribution)
A stable, field-forward team with deep roots in the region and a diverse book of commercial, industrial, and municipal work
