The Project Manager oversees assigned projects from start to finish, working closely with superintendents to ensure successful execution. This role involves managing personnel, safety compliance, scheduling, budgeting, and communication across all phases of the project. The Project Manager plays a key role in aligning job progress with company goals, quality standards, and safety protocols.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
· Develop and manage comprehensive production plans for each project.
· Fully understand the scope of work, including perimeter edge, rise wall, and assembly details, as outlined in architectural drawings and specifications, for both new construction and re-roof projects.
· Ensure proper staffing and allocation of labor to support project timelines.
· Coordinate and track all tools, equipment, and safety supplies required for efficient and compliant execution.
· Implement and enforce all OSHA and company safety protocols on-site.
· Create accurate material takeoffs and manage orders in alignment with billing cycles and project milestones.
· Monitor job costs vs. percent completed and communicate regularly with Superintendents and leadership to keep projects on budget and schedule, leveraging FWW internal systems for tracking and reporting.
· Lead pre-construction meetings to set expectations and post-construction reviews to capture lessons learned.
· Attend and contribute to internal and external project meetings.
· Support the professional development of superintendents by sharing knowledge and coaching on job management.
· Identify and document any out-of-scope conditions, and report findings to the Sales Representative or appropriate party.
· Maintain clear and proactive communication with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve issues as they arise.
· Continuously seek ways to improve production processes and outcomes.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
WORKING CONDITIONS
· Work is performed in both office and field environments.
· Frequent visits to active construction sites required.
· Exposure to varying weather conditions including heat, cold, and inclement weather.
· May require standing, walking, climbing ladders, or bending for extended periods.
· Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) while on job sites.
· May be required to work extended hours, weekends, or evenings depending on project needs.
· Must be able to drive to multiple project locations as needed.
· Occasional lifting of up to 25–50 lbs may be necessary.
