An established and growing commercial general contractor is seeking a Project Manager to oversee ground-up and renovation projects across the retail, automotive, restaurant, and commercial sectors. Key Responsibilities
Manage commercial construction projects from award through closeout.
Obtain permits and ensure compliance with all local building requirements.
Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
Develop and maintain project schedules utilizing Procore and Microsoft Project.
Manage project budgets, forecasts, change orders, and overall financial performance.
Coordinate procurement of subcontractors, materials, and equipment.
Lead project teams including Superintendents, Project Engineers, and Project Coordinators.
Monitor construction progress and proactively resolve project issues.
Ensure quality standards are achieved through regular site visits and inspections.
Maintain project documentation, reporting, and communication with all stakeholders.
Promote safe jobsite operations and compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
Travel periodically to project sites throughout the United States.
Minimum Qualifications
3-7+ years of Project Management experience with a commercial general contractor.
Experience managing ground-up commercial construction projects valued between $2M-$5M.
Strong understanding of commercial construction processes from preconstruction through closeout.
Procore experience strongly preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Project scheduling preferred.
Strong budgeting, forecasting, and cost control experience.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and project priorities.
Willingness to travel approximately 25% as needed.
Bachelor's degree is preferred but equivalent construction experience will be considered.
