Palm Beach is one of the most demanding custom residential markets in the country, and the builder behind this search has spent the past several years deliberately rebuilding and expanding its presence there. That effort worked. Trade partners now describe the company as one of the busiest custom home builders in Palm Beach — and the growth has been substantial enough that it is moving into a larger Palm Beach office to house the team it's hiring.

The work runs from smaller custom residences to landmark estates exceeding $50 million. Right now that means multiple active builds, several newly awarded Palm Beach projects with more entering the pipeline, and several major estates valued between $40 million and $50 million moving through preconstruction and contract negotiation. The business behind it has more than 25 years of building luxury homes in South Florida, so the Palm Beach expansion is being run by people who have done this before.

For a project manager, the appeal is straightforward: architecturally significant custom estates, a genuine backlog rather than one job at a time, and a growing office where the person hired now is joining early rather than filling a slot in a finished org chart.

The Role

You will own the planning, execution, and delivery of high-end custom residential projects — from preconstruction through completion. Budget, schedule, procurement, quality, and the client experience sit with you.

The role puts you directly alongside ownership, architects, interior designers, engineers, consultants, trade partners, and the clients themselves. On homes at this level, managing that group is the job; the person who does it well is the reason the house gets delivered on time and at the standard the client expects.

What You'll Get to Accomplish

• Lead architecturally complex custom residences from preconstruction through turnover, carrying full accountability for schedule, budget, and delivery.
• Own project financial performance — budgets, procurement, and subcontractor coordination across the life of the build.
• Work directly with the architects, interior designers, engineers, and consultants shaping each residence, through every phase of construction.
• Set and hold the standard for quality, safety, and client service on homes where craftsmanship and detail carry the entire project.
• Stay ahead of the build through site visits, progress meetings, and project reviews — identifying and resolving construction challenges before they reach the schedule or the budget.
• Control the commercial and contractual side of the project: contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and documentation.
• Mentor and support the field teams working under you, and report progress directly to company leadership and project stakeholders.

What You'll Bring

• 5+ years of project management experience in luxury residential construction.
• A track record managing custom homes valued from $5M to $50M+.
• Strong command of high-end residential construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, and project controls.
• The ability to independently manage multiple stakeholders and complex scopes without close supervision.
• Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred, not required.

Compensation

Candidates must have substantial experience delivering fully custom luxury residences to be considered. This is not an opportunity for someone looking to make the jump into high-end residential construction for the first time.
