 Advanced Systems Design is seeking a Project Manager for our client located in Tallahassee, FL.

This position is onsite in Tallahassee, FL, and requires in-person availability starting day 1. 

Job Overview:

This scope of work is for project management services to support activities and project involving the State of Florida Newborn Screen (NBS) Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).Contractor will provide these services to the Florida Department of Health (Department).

• Manage NBS LIMS projects as directed by the Department.  
• Allocate and track project tasks using Microsoft Project as determined by the Departments Project Team.
• Attend project related meetings and conference calls as needed and required by the Department.
• Schedule meetings and conference calls as needed and required by the Department to effectively manage projects and keep project stakeholders involved.
• Prepare reports, correspondence, and other documents, and submit to the Department’s Contract Manager.
• Monitor projects and implement measures to define and control project scope as directed by the Department.
• Assist in other related projects as specified by the Department to provide project management expertise and insight.

Required Qualifications:

• Two years of experience managing information technology (IT) related projects
• Hold a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• One year of experience in HL7 messaging
• Two years’ experience in a clinical laboratory environment.
• Two years’ experience working with Florida’s Newborn Screening Program
