Project Manager for Civil Work - Competitive Pay

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret plans
• Ensure the financial goals of each project are met.
• Create change oreders, follow through regarding approval of them.
• Set up project timelines in order to meet deadlines. Ensure product is where it needs to be when it needs to be there.
• Pull appropriate permits
• Set up pre and during project meetings with the client. Take notes, impact agreed upon items. Represent Greener Group professionally.
• Prepare and submit progress reports, and / or cost tracking reports.
• Create submittals
• Create AIA contract documents
• Follow through on change orders, pay requisitions, AIA documents, and submittals.
• Solicit subcontractors if / when needed.
• Communicate effectively with Greener Group Foremen, supervisor, division managers and others as needed.
• Research, note taking and tracking of needed items.
• Plan ahead; bring foreseen difficulties to the attention of supervisor. Be creative as to how to resolve them..
• Ensure that licenses are in place as needed.

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in this type of role. This is not an assistant project manager role.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations, safety and building codes, construction methods
• Knowledge of site excavation including underground utility work experience.
• Software knowledge and experience with tools such as electronic mail, internet, estimating software such as Bluebeam, Excel
• Speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language
• OSHA 10 hour certification
• Ability to pass a criminal background check, have a respectable motor vehicle record, valid driver license, pass a pre-placement drug screen and have current DOT medical card.
