Project Manager- Landscape Construction - Growth-Minded Organization

• Collaborate with Superintendent to ensure project production and deadlines are met
• Conduct pre-construction meetings with the property owner, superintendent, field staff and subcontractors
• Ensure that all extras are documented, approved by the project owner, and billed accordingly
• Conduct Pre-Job flight review of plans and specifications against bid
• Conduct handoff job meeting to include applicable field and office personnel
• Contract subcontractors and suppliers to obtain the best pricing to maintain budget
• Communicate progress on landscape projects to company management and field staff effectively
• Responsible for all submittals and job closeout
• Coordinate subcontractor work details and schedule with Superintendent
• Communicate completed job progress to billing timely for scheduled bill date
• Effectively and expeditiously price and process change orders
• Maintain project job files
• Monitor callbacks and warranty work
• Conduct final walk through with client and architect
• Present operating instructions and as-built plans (if needed) to clients during the final walkthrough
• Manage multiple landscape construction projects together with the superintendent

Requirements

• 5 years’ experience as a project manager in the landscape industry managing projects over 1 million
• Must have knowledge of plant material
• Proficient in Excel
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate company resources
• Ability to read and decipher plans, perform takeoffs and understand specs
• Ability to read and understand contract language
