Project Manager, Onsite, Limassol

Emerald Zebra is partnering with a rapidly expanding international financial group that provides clients worldwide access to over one million financial instruments. As the company strengthens its presence across Europe, it is growing its operations in Cyprus and seeking a Project Manager (Bank Accounts Opening) to join the team in Limassol.

This role is ideal for a highly organised professional with strong experience in banking and brokerage account operations, and a deep understanding of how licensed investment firms function.

The Role:

• Manage the full cycle of opening accounts with banks and brokerage institutions.
• Create and maintain project schedules for account openings and departmental initiatives.
• Coordinate with internal teams including Compliance, Legal, Finance, and Operations to ensure smooth and timely completion of tasks.
• Prepare, update and maintain all required project documentation.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of new tools and processes to enhance operational efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with both external partners and internal stakeholders throughout the process.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by the Head of Department.

Your Profile:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a financial company as a Payment Specialist, Settlement Specialist, or in a similar role related to banking account operations.
• Strong understanding of procedures involved in opening and managing bank and brokerage accounts.
• Knowledge of KYC/AML processes, regulatory requirements, and experience collaborating with compliance teams.
• Experience working with European and international banks/brokers.
• High level of organisation with the ability to manage projects end-to-end.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate across multiple departments.
• Strong attention to detail and a high sense of responsibility.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
• Fluent in English and Russian is a must.
• Familiarity with project management tools (Jira, Confluence, Asana, etc.) is a plus.
• Experience with licensed investment firms regulated by CySEC, FCA, or under MiFID II is an advantage.

• Salary Range: EUR 45,000 - 57,000 gross/year
