Summary The Falcon Group is seeking an experienced Building Envelope Specialist to support and lead projects involving evaluation, design, and remediation of exterior cladding and envelope systems across multifamily, commercial, and institutional buildings. This individual will perform technical evaluations, develop detailed reports and design documents, participate in bidding and contractor selection, and provide construction administration and construction observation throughout project execution. Candidates must demonstrate strong technical knowledge of building envelope assemblies—with a particular emphasis on cladding systems—along with the ability to mentor junior staff and contribute to the continued growth of our envelope team. An IIBEC credential (RBEC, RRC, RWC, REWC, or similar) is strongly preferred.
Professional licensure (PE, RA, or EIT/AXP in progress) is a plus.
Experience with FORTIFIED, façade investigations, or forensic building science is beneficial.
Additional Skills
Strong understanding of building codes (IRC/IBC, IEBC, NJ UCC, local amendments).
Familiarity with ASTM, AAMA, and TMS standards.
Proficiency with CAD or BIM platforms preferred.
Excellent communication, leadership, and project-management skills.

Estimated salary range for this position is $85,000 to $135,000. The salary listed is an estimate and not guaranteed. The salary offered will vary based on experience, education, skills, abilities, and certifications/license if applicable
Physical Demands
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Comfortable using ladders, lifts, scaffolds, and roof access equipment
Ability to perform site work in extreme temperatures, humidity, and adverse weather
Ability to work at heights up to 10 stories and in confined spaces (attics, crawlspaces)
Significant standing/walking on uneven or challenging terrain
