Project Manager-29106

Manages medium to large projects as measured by project scope, budget, and schedule.

Demonstrates baseline competence of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK); including nine knowledge areas (Integration, Scope, Time, Cost, Quality, Human Resources, Communications, Risk, and Procurement Management).

Manages matrix project teams including team members located at other domestic Abbott sites, and external vendors.

Demonstrates an understanding of the business and division business goals.

Establishes and maintains relationships with Director and DVP level business leaders. Demonstrates positive influence and impact with first-line and middle management. Communicates effectively with management, peers, and team members.

Shares lessons learned with team members.

PMP certification highly desirable, but not required.

Min. Experience: Has 4 – 6 years of project management experience; 1 – 2 years of previous project manager (leadership) experience.

Min. Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
