Summary The Field Project Manager (FPM) serves as the Information Services (IS) representative within the construction environment for Strategic Projects. This role builds and maintains strong partnerships with Design & Construction (D&C), low voltage vendors, trade partners, and the Strategic Project Manager (SPM) to ensure IS requirements are executed accurately and on schedule.
While the SPM focuses broadly across IS, Operations, and Clinical domains, the FPM is dedicated to ensuring the construction team implements IS design intent, standards, and installation quality in real time. The FPM acts as an on-site resource, liaison, and validator throughout the construction lifecycle.
Leads and directs high-priority and complex project(s) usually encompassing multiple applications and business areas to successful and timely completion and within budget. This role involves coordinating with multiple teams and governance groups. Provides administrative decision making, leadership and planning for IU Health's business and clinical projects. Assures day-to-day coordination, communications, issue/resolution, and financial management related to the assigned projects. Oversees resources assigned to the project must be familiar with the systems scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member to effectively coordinate the activities of the team. Facilitates current and future state business processes, requirements, elicitation, solutions and development and test management.
