Project Manager/Scrum Master - Leading Industry Pay

Tygart is currently seeking a Project Manager/Scrum Master to provide project leadership for the development, maintenance, and administration of web applications and services supportin a National Institute of Health (NIH) organization. The successful candidate will have experience leading projects using an Agile framework. This position requires that the candidate pass a Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT) background investigation.

Responsibilities include:  

• Lead a small team in the Development, Modernization and Enhancement (DME) and Operation and Maintenance (O&M) of customer application(s)
• Lead project meetings with government stakeholders and internal team members
• Manage an Agile development process
• Maintain project documentation and track progress via available tool suites.
• Work collaboratively in a team environment.

 
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or similar technical discipline
• Five (5) years or more years of experience serving as a Project Manager for application development projects.
• Three (3) or more years’ experience serving as a Scrum Master (or equivalent) for Agile development projects.
• Hands-on experience configuring and using the Atlassian Suite of tools
• Project Management and Agile certifications are preferred.
• Must be able to work well under pressure, and possess excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as excellent organizational skills.
