This role requires a rare combination of deep Asana expertise, and having the ability to own all of our integration of our internal tools. ( jira, asana, etc.)

Have the ability to educate, influence, and align cross-functional teams around new ways of working.

Key Responsibilities

Internal Tools: Strategy & Implementation

  • Translate business processes into efficient, standardized Asana workflows across functions (Engineering, Product, Marketing, Operations, HR, etc.)

  • Establish governance, naming conventions, templates, and usage standards to ensure long-term scalability

Organizational Change Management

  • Act as the change leader for the Asana rollout, ensuring strong adoption and sustained usage

  • Partner with executive sponsors and department leaders to align Asana usage with business goals

  • Identify change risks and resistance points, and proactively address them through communication, training, and reinforcement

  • Define success metrics for adoption, efficiency, and impact

Training & Enablement

  • Develop and deliver role-based training for all employees, including:

    • Individual contributors

    • Managers and program leaders

    • Executive leadership

  • Create documentation, playbooks, onboarding guides, and best-practice resources

  • Serve as the go-to expert for Asana questions, coaching, and optimization

  • Support internal champions and super-users to scale adoption

Stakeholder Partnership & Optimization

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to continuously improve workflows

  • Assess current project and program management maturity and recommend improvements

  • Optimize Asana usage over time based on feedback, metrics, and evolving business needs

  • Support integrations with tools such as Slack, Jira, Salesforce, Google Workspace, or others as applicable

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in project, program, or work management roles

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience implementing and administering Asana at scale

  • Proven experience leading enterprise or multi-team Asana rollouts

  • Strong background in organizational change management and user adoption

  • Demonstrated ability to train and influence employees at all levels of the organization

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to translate complex processes into simple, scalable workflows

  • Experience with enterprise SaaS or high-growth organizations

  • Familiarity with complementary tools (Jira, Monday.com, Smartsheet, ClickUp, Salesforce, Slack)

  • Experience working with PMOs, Operations, or Business Systems teams

  • Prior consulting experience or experience leading transformations across multiple departments

What Success Looks Like

  • Asana is fully implemented, adopted, and trusted as the system of record for work
