Project Representative

Felix Construction Company is seeking a Project Representative with specific experience in the construction of water and wastewater facilities.  This role will represent Felix Construction in the field on projects utilizing specialty sub-contractors to complete assigned tasks.  Our projects vary in size and scope and are located throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area ($250k - $20 MM). The ideal candidate can communicate and work well with all levels of personnel and have experience in project oversight and record keeping.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Work closely with client, team members, and other related parties involved in the project


• On-site construction observation, reporting and documentation


• Field verification of conformance with contract documents


• Create, maintain, and upload accurate field observation reports and photographs into database utilizing Felix Construction electronic filing and management tools


• Provide project oversight, supporting the Project Manager on project specific activities


• Ensure contractor and sub-contractor follow Felix Construction safety protocol

Who You Are

• 5+ years of water/wastewater construction industry experience


• Proven experience in water/wastewater construction observation and/or construction management


• Well organized, good collaborator


• Comfortable reading plans and specs for all disciplines on a typical water/wastewater project


• Proficiency in MS Office, construction software tools and other technology required


• Have ability to use GPS and cell phone technology to locate job sites


• Must have valid driver’s license with good driving record


• Have the legal right to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship

Environment and Physical Demands

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and standing outside in the elements for extended periods of time. Specific vision abilities required by this job include ability to adjust and focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; hear; talk.  Driving is also a job requirement.
