Project Technician

Lucky Lincoln gaming is hiring a Project Technician to function as part of the operations team and to inspect, maintain, transport, install and repair our inventory of gaming units within the Chicagoland area. The Project Technician will be responsible for assisting our project team with transportation of equipment and installation of equipment as well as maintaining all VGTs in our customer environments.  This work will be done within LLG’s Chicago warehouse and at various establishments throughout the Chicagoland area. The successful candidate must be 21 years or older, be detail oriented, dependable, and pass a detailed background check with the Illinois gaming board and the Illinois department of professional regulations.?

As a project technician, your responsibilities will include:  

• Transport video gaming equipment across Chicagoland from LLG’s warehouse to customer locations, and vice versa.? 
• Ram clear VGTs, memory wipes, software upgrades, troubleshooting software fails, installing cameras, installing locks, picking up machines, parts & software from manufacturers, basing machines, prep? 
• Install video gaming equipment working alongside location owners, Illinois gaming board and manufacturers of gaming equipment.? 
• Perform preventative maintenance on video gaming terminals and redemption terminals.? 
• Perform compliance audits on locations? 
• Install, replace, or update data cable when necessary, utilizing wire hiders and other electrical components? 
• Collect and fill cash in redemption terminals on occasion? 
• Various warehouse duties including shipping/receiving, inventory control, administrative paperwork and refurbishing electronical components? 
• Interact with establishment/venues along with patrons in a courteous and professional manner? 
• Provide technical support on-site or via phone or other communication method? 
• Adhere to all company policies and IGB compliance guidelines   

The project technician position is well-suited for you if you possess:  

• Ability to complete tasks with minimal direction.? 
• Strong communication skills.? 
• Mechanically and technologically inclined.? 
• Strong moral character and work ethic.? 
• Ability to walk, sit, stand, and lift up to 75 lbs. At any time.? 

Qualified candidates will have:  

• High school diploma or GED required.? 
• At least 21 years of age.  
• Be able to pass a background check and obtain a terminal handler’s license from the Illinois gaming board required.? 
• Ability to work both 1st and 2nd shift schedules (average 40-45 hours a week including OT).? 
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.?
