Promotional Specialists Needed for Cinco De Mayo Demos 5/3

Kinetic Events Staffing is in search of professional and outgoing promotional specialists with prior on and off-premise experience to support a number of Cinco de Mayo demos. We have additional demos and events coming up throughout the spring and summer season as well!

Demos are 90-120 minutes each at several venues where we will be representing mezcal and tequila brands. The accounts are divided into zones, relatively close to each other. Promotional Specialists will be speaking about the brand, provided samples to guests/customers and passing out swag.

On-Premises Demos (5/3): Need 1 person @ $38/hour (Will be working w/ partner)

*Time spent driving to the next venue is unpaid.

Off Premise (Wet) Demos (5/3): Need 1 person @ $43/hour (Will be working solo).

*Time spent driving to the next venue is unpaid.

Additional Information

• Parking will be reimbursed with a valid receipt stating the date and price up to $25 per venue.
• Sample cups will need to be purchased by staff but will be reimbursed with a receipt stating the date and price.
• Staff will need to wear their own jeans or black pants & black shirt or a black dress. Bandanas will be provided by the client in the demo kits to tie around the neck. Clothing, hair & makeup must be polished, presentable, and brand-appropriate.
• You are not required to purchase any alcohol onsite - Kinetic Events provides payment cards and/or pre-pays directly with the client or venue.

Job Requirements

• Must be 21+ years old due to venue & serving requirements.
• Must have a considerable background in front-facing customer service roles.
• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a standard shift (typically 4-12 hours), except during designated rest breaks and meal periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
• Must be punctual and reliable for all scheduled shifts.
• Must have a proficiency in English with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional demeanor, appearance, and actions while on the job.
• Limited phone use during shifts.
• Must adhere to all legal regulations and company policies set by Kinetic Events Staffing.

Ideal Candidates

• Previous event and/or promotional experience is required.
• Flexible and adaptable as job duties and schedules may change based on client needs.
• Tech-savvy and willing to learn new tasks and skills.
• Local to the Sacramento area. Kinetic Events/our clients do not provide travel reimbursements.
