Our client, a nationwide leader in the self-storage industry with over 50 years in business, is experiencing rapid growth and looking to add an Accountant to their team in Stillwater, MN.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a stable, expanding organization in a hands-on accounting role with strong potential for long-term growth.

✅ What You’ll Do:

• Prepare and review monthly financials (P&L, balance sheets, income statements)


• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger


• Handle bank, payroll, and tenant account reconciliations; as well as CAM reconciliations


• Manage fixed asset depreciation and accruals


• Review contracts, purchase orders, and financial transactions


• Support audit processes and tax filing requirements


• Help improve internal controls and ensure GAAP compliance


• Collaborate with software vendors and help optimize systems (Yardi experience is a major plus)

🎯 What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (or experience in lieu of degree)


• 2+ years of accounting experience with construction OR real estate company


• Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)


• Experience with Yardi or Sage is a big plus


• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines

SALARY: $70k-$75K per year, discretionary bonus, medical-dental-vision- company covers over half your cost of insurance, 401K and match, PTO, paid holidays- standard ones PLUS 2 floating
