What you'll do (mostly this...other duties may be assigned):

• Contribute to a great guest stay by ensuring the property is in good repair and free of hazards
• Follow guest room preventive maintenance checklist

• Complete room preventive maintenance and ensure that on completion the room is clean, and all materials removed

• Perform basic repairs including but not limited to replacing light fixtures, repairing grout, caulking, tightening loose toilet seats, performing minor plumbing/electrical repair, painting or wall repairs

• Interact with guests and addresses guest needs in a timely and supportive manner

• Report any serious maintenance issues, findings or safety issues immediately to the manager/ supervisor

• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards

What you should bring to the table:

• Hight School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience in general repair such as carpentry, painting, plumbing and maintenance of mechanical equipment
• Pool certification is a plus
• Your best professional manners
• Can-do attitude and passion for guest service
• Ability to delight by anticipating guest needs and responding in a friendly, helpful manner
• Consistently caring and respectful approach to others
• Ability to act as a gracious host to guests, vendors and candidates for employment
