Location: Monroeville, PA

Salary: $33,000-$38,000 annually + commission (based on experience)

Responsibilities of the Leasing Specialist:

• Serve as a primary resource for clients, tenants, and prospects, maintaining positive relationships.
• Manage the full leasing process, including marketing vacant units, handling showings (including evenings/weekends), and processing applications.
• Organize and track leads using property management (PM) software.
• Prepare and complete leasing paperwork, move-in/move-out instructions, and submit necessary documentation to compliance.
• Conduct move-in, move-out, and annual inspections; enter and coordinate work orders as needed.
• Oversee turnover processes, including obtaining estimates, coordinating vendors, and processing related work orders.
• Manage vacant units both fiscally and physically; ensure timely utility setup, transfer, and reversion agreements.
• Ensure online listings for available units are posted promptly and respond to rental inquiries within 24 hours.
• Maintain a minimum portfolio occupancy rate of 90% through proactive leasing and vacancy management.

Qualifications for the Leasing Specialist:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing role (Real Estate preferred).
• Knowledge of leasing or real estate sales; must have or be willing to obtain a PA Real Estate License within 1 year.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Proficient in computer and internet use; experience with property management software a plus.
• Reliable personal transportation, valid driver’s license, and vehicle insurance required; must be comfortable traveling throughout the Pittsburgh area.
• Must pass pre-employment drug and background screening.
