Job Description - Property Maintenance Supervisor

GA Telesis is a global leader providing integrated solutions to the aviation and aerospace industries.  We serve over 2,000 customers, including airlines, original equipment manufacturers, maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) providers, and suppliers worldwide, with 31 leasing, sales, distribution, and MRO operations in 19 countries. The Property Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining all aspects of facility maintenance operations at GA Telesis. This role plays a critical part in maintaining a safe, secure, and efficient environment for our employees, clients, and visitors. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of facility maintenance and a commitment to upholding industry standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day upkeep and maintenance of the facilities.
  • Assist in the development and maintain asset plans including space planning, expansion and optimization; and manage daily operations.
  • Supervise and coordinate facility maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations and industry standards.
  • Oversee the operation of critical systems, including HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, security, and emergency response procedures.
  • Optimize facility space to enhance operational efficiency and accommodate future growth.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments to plan and implement office layouts and workspace modifications.
  • Maintain environmental KPI’s, facility inspection reports, safety records, waste management reporting, and OSHA injury/accident reporting.
  • Ensure that vendors comply with contractual agreements and industry standards.
  • Stay informed about aviation regulations and ensure that facilities comply with all relevant laws and standards.
  • Implement and maintain safety protocols and procedures to safeguard employees and visitors.
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans to address various scenarios, ensuring the safety of occupants and assets.
  • Conduct regular drills and training exercises to prepare staff for emergency situations.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in facilities management, preferably in the aviation industry.
  • Knowledge of aviation health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in emergency situations.
