The Property Manager is directly responsible for all property operations and conducting business in accordance with company policies and procedures as defined by HUD, Low Income Housing Tax Credit, and other applicable regulatory agency requirements. Activities associated with the position include the day-to-day operations of the housing program including the leasing, housing and eviction of individuals and families, assisting with identifying the property’s maintenance needs of the buildings/units/grounds, and overseeing the activities of on-site contractors. Additional activities include all actions associated with lease provisions, calculating and collecting rent, conducting new resident orientations, conducting annual re-certifications, enforcing lease provisions and submitting reports and other documentation required by federal regulations and internal operating policies. Incumbents must be available to respond to emergency situations whenever necessary.

Necessary Requirements of Work
Graduation from an accredited four year high school supplemented with vocational or technical training in secretarial science or closely related field; a minimum of two years of general office experience, considerable experience working with the public preferably in a governmental setting; good organizational, interpersonal and decision-making skills; general knowledge of Tax Credit Regulations and HUD regulations and reporting requirements pertaining to rental operations; or any equivalent combination of education and/or experience to provide the following knowledge, abilities and skills:

Special Necessary Requirements
Possession of a valid Tennessee Driver’s License and the ability to be insured at standard vehicle liability rates.
