Property Tax Research Analyst – (Hybrid)


The Property Tax Research Analyst plays a key role in supporting the property tax administration process for commercial real estate portfolios. This position requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, a collaborative work style, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.


This is a hybrid position, requiring both in-office and remote work.


 


Key Responsibilities


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:



  • Conduct research on property parcels using county, municipal, and tax authority records

  • Establish and maintain jurisdiction records within internal systems to ensure accurate tax tracking

  • Entering and maintaining property tax data in internal systems, including parcel identification numbers, tax amounts, delinquent balances, and other property and client information

  • Managing and maintaining electronic client files and documentation, ensuring records are organized and filed accurately and timely

  • Compiling, reviewing, and verifying data for accuracy and completeness

  • Assisting departmental personnel with daily operational support and administrative tasks

  • Supporting the management of commercial real estate tax information across multiple jurisdictions


Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree required; Business, or Real Estate preferred

  • Minimum 2 years of professional office experience


Skills & Competencies



  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills


Compensation




  • Starting Salary: $65,000 annually

  • 120 hours of PTO after a 90-day probation period (unused hours are forfeited annually)

  • Typically, 17 plus paid holidays

  • Employee-only medical, dental, vision, and basic life premium insurance paid by the employer

  • 3% of salary employer 401k contribution after two years of employment

  • Business casual dress code with exceptions based on assigned tasks and positions
