Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates, Inc. (WJE)

is looking for a temporary part-time Proposal Coordinator to support our

Washington D.C. office, located in Falls Church, Virginia.

The temporary part-time Proposal Coordinator will assist our administrative team with coordination and execution of efforts related to all stages of our project pursuits. The candidate should have strong writing ability, high attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

Research and monitor various outlets to identify project opportunities, utilizing platforms including IMS, GovWin, BidSync, owner sites, etc.

Assist with organization of RFQ/RFP/IDIQ proposals and responses from initiation through final submission

Interact with staff at all levels to write and update office marketing materials, including project sheets, staff resumes, boilerplate content, project award submissions, and staff presentations (for both internal and external use)

Copy, edit and format project reports for clients

Provide administrative support to our Unit Managers and Administrative Associates

Requirements:

Currently enrolled or graduated with an associate or bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field

Strong writing skills

Excellent verbal communication

Attention to detail

Ability to organize and manage workload between a variety of ongoing tasks

Working toward proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook

Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g. Adobe Photoshop, including InDesign, and Illustrator)

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. This position requires visual acuity and listening ability along with the ability to read and write. Individuals must have the dexterity to be able to operate office equipment such as computers, printers, copiers, telephones, voicemail systems, and other office equipment. The position requires the ability to remain for extended periods at a workstation, as well as the ability to lift 25 pounds.

The expected hourly rates for candidates who meet the above criteria range from $17.00 an hour to $23.00 an hour based on education level.
