Proposal Manager

• Own the full lifecycle of RFP/RFI responses—from opportunity assessment and kickoff to final submission and debrief.
• Analyze requirements, develop response strategies, and build win themes that align with customer priorities.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) across the organization to gather input and shape responses.
• Write, edit, and format proposal content to ensure clarity, consistency, compliance, and polish.
• Maintain and continuously improve a reusable content library, including standard answers, case studies, bios, and certifications.
• Track deadlines, manage schedules, and enforce accountability to ensure timely, high-quality submissions.
• Standardize processes and tools to scale proposal development across the organization.
• Conduct post-mortems to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for future improvement.
• Support the creation of unsolicited proposals, capability statements, and sales enablement materials as needed.

• 5+ years of direct experience managing RFPs and RFIs, ideally in tech, IT services, or government contracting.
• Strong understanding of proposal best practices, APMP methodology a plus.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills; able to synthesize technical and business content into crisp, persuasive prose.
• Mastery of Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with Adobe Acrobat, SharePoint, and RFP automation tools (e.g., Loopio, RFPIO, or similar).
• Highly organized with an ability to juggle multiple projects and tight deadlines.
• Comfortable working cross-functionally and managing input from diverse stakeholders
