Job Title: Protestant Musical Director

Location: Washington DC

Travel: N/A

Duties:

• The applicant shall function as part of a diverse team in a religiously pluralistic environment.
• The applicant shall work with and under the direction of the assigned chaplain.
• The applicant shall meet weekly (or as needed) with the assigned chaplain to discuss worship program direction and priorities.
• The applicant shall plan for, prepare, coordinate, and facilitate all protestant worship services.
• The applicant shall establish and manage a volunteer tracking system for all volunteers who enable the worship services.

Qualifications:

• The applicant shall have the ability to arrange, direct, and perform multiple styles/genres of worship music
• The applicant must be able to operate in and be fully conversant in the religiously pluralistic environment of military chaplaincy.
• The applicant shall be able to multi-task and manage multiple music programs for multiple worship services

Education/Experience:

• The applicant shall possess an undergraduate or higher degree in music/Christian worship music.
• The applicant possess four (4) years of experience in facilitating Christian worship music for a church or military chapel.
