Compensation: The initial pay range for this position upon commencement of employment is projected to fall between $24.00 and $29.99. However, the offered base pay may be subject to adjustments based on various individualized factors, such as the candidate's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Position Summary:
This role is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with Universal Healthcare IPA network/non-network providers, health plans, brokers, community partners, and more. Handling complex provider issues (such as provider portal, claims payment, and UM processes) and ensure the delivery of education and training to IPA offices. Communication methods will include on-site visits, phone, email, and virtual meetings. This position will assist in developing and executing marketing initiatives to promote the organization's services and brand. This will include supporting provider marketing campaigns, community outreach programs, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure alignment between provider relations and marketing goals. The role will be crucial in achieving contractual performance standards, enhancing customer service, and driving engagement with providers and external stakeholders through innovative marketing strategies.
Requirements
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Establish and nurture positive business relationships with network/non-network providers, health plans, brokers, and community partners, effectively negotiating outcomes and fostering collaboration.
• Collaborate with the team to develop and execute provider-focused marketing campaigns, community outreach programs, and other promotional activities that align with organizational objectives.
• Address provider inquiries related to the UHC IPA Provider Portal, claims payment, authorizations process, contracting, and other critical issues, ensuring consistent and effective communication.
• Spearhead onboarding processes for new providers and their staff, providing comprehensive training through on-site visits, webinars, and virtual platforms.
• Identify gaps within the provider network, analyze these insights, and present findings to the Provider Network Management Committee and Executive Team to inform decision-making.
• Organize Provider Network meetings, quarterly informational meetings, and provider training sessions, ensuring that providers are well-informed and engaged.
• Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, IT, and compliance, to ensure seamless coordination between provider relations and marketing efforts.
• Demonstrate strong organizational and project management skills to ensure the timely execution of tasks, meeting objectives, and deadlines across both provider relations and marketing initiatives.
• Prepare and deliver marketing materials, presentations, and reports to providers, internal teams, and executives, showcasing insights, progress, and outcomes in a clear and professional manner.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare regulations, including State and Federal laws, and ensure marketing and provider relations activities comply with these regulations.
• Provide outstanding customer service, maintaining professionalism, adaptability, and problem-solving skills to address both internal and external needs.
• Collaborate on the creation and distribution of marketing content, promotional materials, and provider-focused resources that enhance engagement and awareness.
• Utilize Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project) and other standard office equipment to efficiently manage tasks and responsibilities.
• Travel locally and occasionally to out-of-town locations to visit providers, attend meetings, and represent the organization at community or marketing events.
• Flexibility to work weekends or after-hours as needed for events, provider meetings, or urgent tasks related to marketing initiatives and provider relations.
• Handle any other duties as assigned, adapting to changes in business needs and organizational priorities.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a marketing or provider networking role is required.
• Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines consistently.
• Knowledgeable on marketing or social media platforms and tools (Google Analytics, CRM systems, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.).
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on providing quality support.
Other Requirements:
• Possession of a valid driver's license.
• Proof of state-required auto liability insurance.
• Reliable transportation is required.
