Providex (PVX) Engineer- DMB

About the Role

We are looking for a Providex engineer (strong intermediate to senior) to support DB Distributor, a mission-critical ERP system used by customers every day. This role is support-heavy and customer-facing, with direct responsibility for diagnosing production issues, communicating with customers, and delivering safe fixes

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and maintain a large Providex / PVX Plus codebase in production
• Investigate and resolve customer-reported issues in live environments
• Work directly with support to gather details, explain root causes, and provide clear updates
• Deliver fixes and improvements with a strong focus on system stability
• Participate in on-call rotation and handle occasional after-hours support when required
• Collaborate closely with support, product, and engineering teams
• Contribute to documentation and shared technical knowledge

What We Are Looking For

• Hands-on experience with Providex / PVX Plus in a production environment
• Experience supporting business-critical systems
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in legacy codebases
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers
• Comfort owning issues end-to-end until resolution

Preferred Skills

• ERP, accounting, or financial systems experience
• SQL and data-level troubleshooting
• Client-facing or support-oriented engineering background
• Experience working remotely with distributed teams
