Proxyware Digital Trust and Safety (DTS) Analyst

Role Overview:

This Proxyware DTS Analyst contributes directly to the protection of children and seniors from digital harm.  At its highest level, the DTS Analyst’s role is to help Proxyware convert installation customers into digital safety advocates. This position supports the operational deployment and effectiveness of Proxyware scanning environments. The role combines account implementation, threat validation, and digital safety reporting to ensure Proxyware locations deliver accurate, actionable intelligence on malware, scams, and harmful online content affecting seniors and K-12 environments. 

Key Responsibilities:

Account Onboarding & Coordination

• Coordinate the complete setup process from the close of a prospect or pilot participant through to the delivery of the first report.


• Validate scam/harm detection coverage and baseline threat detection before the first client report is issued.


• Collaborate with the scanner team to ensure timely execution.


• Maintain a master list of all "to-do" and completed items for account launches.


• Ensure PW system account setup is complete, including applicable subscriptions and callbacks.

Scanning Optimization & Quality Control

• Ensure effectiveness across targeted demographics (e.g., identifying "kids' harms" for schools or relevant scans for seniors).


• Research and add state, location, and audience-specific websites to optimize scanning impact.(sites, regions, categories)


• Conduct regular QC and optimization for account scanning cadences and timing for scanning health and detection accuracy.


• Monitor data for anomalies, spikes, or drops to ensure system integrity.


• K-12 Specifics: Conduct validation from Proxyware Points of Interaction (POIs) to verify firewall accessibility of adult websites and track pass/fail results.

Reporting & Data Analysis

• Produce Monthly and Quarterly reports for Senior Communities and Schools.


• Create State-level reports and pull Qlik data to streamline internal workflows.


• Work toward turning raw data into sophisticated analysis over time.

Client & External Stakeholder Management

• Support management of Proxyware (PW) location meetings and update calls.


• Coordinate communications regarding PW location notifications (DTS) to digital companies (publishers, adtech, cloud providers, CDNs, Meta, etc.).


• Follow up with client stakeholders for data insights and community feedback.


• Support client education and the advancement of product deliverables.

Malware & Creative Oversight

• Identify and process targeted scams and digital harms through PW locations for scanning and data aggregation.


• Strong investigative mindset with the ability to follow technical leads and uncover the root cause of suspicious activity.


• Leverage internal systems to identify insights for digital attack validation.


• Work with the Product team to determine necessary harmful content categories (e.g., Vaping, Marijuana, CBD, smoking, Malware).

• Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree preferred and 5+ years related experience.


• Location: Ideally in the Northern Virginia (NoVA) area (may require in-office depending on business needs).
