Our programs include Residential Treatment, Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), and Outpatient Care, all designed to address a broad spectrum of mental health conditions with specialized care for each diagnosis

We are seeking a compassionate, experienced, and highly skilled Medical Director to lead the clinical and psychiatric services at Kingston Wellness Retreat. The Medical Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of psychiatric care, ensuring clinical excellence, compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering a collaborative, multidisciplinary treatment environment. This role is ideal for a leader with a strong background in psychiatry, mental health care systems, and organizational leadership

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial evaluations and daily assessments of patients.
• Provide medical oversight for the program and ensure the safety and efficacy of treatment plans.
• Collaborate  with clinical teams to ensure integrated, patient-centered care.
• Oversee nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and medical support staff. 
• Develop and implement clinical protocols and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Stay informed on the latest research and best practices in medicine.
• Provide consultation for complex cases and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation of patient care.
• Expected to protect the privacy of all patient information in accordance with facility’s privacy policies, procedures and practices, as required by federal and state law, and in accordance with general principle of professionalism as a health care provider. 

Qualifications and Key Responsibilities:

• Current Licensed Medical Doctor with a valid unencumbered license to practice medicine in the State of GA in good standing.
• Board certification in Psychiatrist
• 3+ years of experience in mental health treatment, preferably in an inpatient setting.
• Ensure best practices in psychopharmacology and evidence-based treatment protocols
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability  to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong organizational and decision-making skills.
• Mentor and provide continuing education to clinical staff
• Promote a culture of learning and clinical excellence.
• Lead initiatives to improve patient safety, clinical outcomes, and patient satisfaction.
• Monitor key performance indicators and adjust clinical protocols as needed.
