Position Summary
The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse will support the Nurse Outreach Program by providing field-based care and assessments to individuals experiencing homelessness, ensuring quality and compassionate health services across NYC.
Key Responsibilities
• Assess mental health of clients
• Provide crisis intervention and psychiatric triage
• Support clients with SMI in accessing services
Required Qualifications
• RN license with psychiatric specialization
• Experience with homeless populations and mental health care
• Familiarity with MHY 9.37 and 9.58 assessments
