Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Medpsych Health Services seeks a compassionate, detail-oriented, part-time, and/or full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our growing, dynamic team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and Therapists. Conveniently located in Washington DC suburbs in Maryland with two convenient locations, serving Montgomery and Frederick counties in Maryland. This is a hybrid position.

Medpsych Health Services is an integrated, multidisciplinary mental health service provider. Our goal is to provide thoughtful, competent, compassionate, and thorough psychiatric diagnostic evaluation, developing appropriate treatment plans and medication treatment to clients in a confidential and caring environment with special consideration to biological, psychological, and physical health.

Duties

• Conducting psychiatric evaluations and assessments
• Providing medication management
• Maintaining patient records
• Treatment planning
• Communicating with the treatment team/family/other clinicians as required
• Care coordination as needed

• Must be licensed to practice in Maryland (full and unrestricted license)
• DEA and CDS license
• Must have a minimum of 1-year experience working as a PMHNP
