ABOUT TRUSTED RESULTS THERAPY GROUP

Trusted Results Therapy Group is a clinician-led, CARF-accredited mental health practice serving communities across South Carolina. With six office locations and a robust telehealth platform, we provide outpatient therapy, psychiatric care, psychological testing, and school-based services to clients across the entire lifespan — from children and adolescents to adults and older adults. Our team of 60+ licensed providers is united by a shared mission: Care You Can Trust. Results You Can See.

We are expanding our psychiatric services team and seeking a skilled APRN to deliver high-quality, evidence-based mental health and medication management care to our growing patient population across the entire lifespan. This position is open to contract, part-time, and full-time arrangements.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)

with a strong psychiatric background to join our behavioral health team. Certification as a

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) is strongly preferred; however, APRNs with substantial psychiatric/mental health clinical experience will be considered.

This is a primarily remote/telehealth position. However, in-person visits at one or more of our South Carolina clinic locations are required for patients on controlled substances. Travel scheduling is coordinated in advance and designed to be efficient for the provider.

Contract | Part-Time | Full-Time

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

planning via telehealth and in-person visits

• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, including Schedule II–V controlled

substances, in accordance with DEA regulations and South Carolina prescribing laws

• Perform required in-person assessments at designated TRTG clinic locations for patients

receiving controlled substance prescriptions

• Monitor patients for medication efficacy, tolerability, and safety; adjust treatment plans as

clinically indicated
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) in compliance

with organizational and regulatory standards

• Utilize the Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP) consistently for all controlled

substance prescribing decisions

• Collaborate with TRTG therapists, case managers, and primary care providers on integrated

care planning

• Participate in care coordination and transition planning for high-acuity or complex patients

• Engage in quality improvement, peer review, and required organizational training

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Active, unrestricted APRN licensure in the state of South Carolina (multi-state or compact

licensure a plus)

• PMHNP-BC board certification strongly preferred; or APRN with significant documented

psychiatric/mental health clinical experience

• Current DEA registration with authority to prescribe Schedule II–V controlled substances

• Minimum 2 years of psychiatric clinical experience in outpatient, inpatient, or community

behavioral health settings

• Demonstrated experience managing patients on controlled substances including stimulants,

benzodiazepines, and/or buprenorphine

• Proficiency with telehealth platforms and electronic health records

• Reliable, private workspace and high-speed internet connection suitable for HIPAA-

compliant telehealth

• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to TRTG office locations as required by patient

care needs

Disorder)

• Familiarity with integrated or collaborative care models

• Experience with insurance billing including Medicaid, Medicare, Tricare, and commercial

plans

• Bilingual or multilingual abilities

TRAVEL & IN-PERSON REQUIREMENTS

The nature of controlled substance prescribing requires periodic in-person contact with patients.

This provider will be expected to travel to one or more TRTG locations across South Carolina to

fulfill this obligation. Specific sites will be assigned based on patient panel distribution.

• Travel frequency and site assignments are determined by patient panel composition

• In-person days are scheduled in advance — no unplanned overnight travel or on-call travel

• Multi-patient in-person scheduling at each site is supported to maximize visit efficiency

• Mileage reimbursement and applicable travel expenses covered per TRTG policy
