Job Description - Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Bronx NY

We are currently expanding our geriatric behavioral health team and are seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) who shares our commitment to exceptional patient -centered care. Whether you’re a seasoned clinician or a recent PMHNP graduate eager to grow your skills, this is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference while working collaboratively with a supportive Medical Director and multidisciplinary team

As a PMHNP, you’ll provide comprehensive psychiatric assessment, medication management, and therapeutic interventions for older adults in skilled nursing and rehabilitation settings. Your expertise will directly contribute to improved emotional well -being, functioning, and quality of life for the patients you serve.

As a PMHNP with Cordial Health, you’ll provide comprehensive psychiatric assessment, medication management, and therapeutic interventions for older adults in skilled nursing and rehabilitation settings. Qualifications

Active New York State Nurse Practitioner license and current PMHNP certification.
At least one year of psychiatric or behavioral health experience preferred (new graduates encouraged to apply).
Proficient understanding of psychopharmacology and evidence -based interventions.
Strong clinical judgment, diagnostic, and communication skills.
Empathetic, patient -focused approach to care delivery.
Comfortable working with EHR platforms and telehealth technology.
