🔍 About the Role: Geriatric Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) 

Senior Doc is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our mobile behavioral health team, specializing in geriatric mental health. This is a fee-for-service role—you earn based on your time and commitment. You'll be supported by a dedicated medical assistant and scribe, allowing you to focus more on patient care and less on admin. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for geriatric patients in home and facility-based settings 

• Diagnose and manage conditions like depression, anxiety, dementia, and behavioral disorders 

• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, adjusting as needed based on patient response 

• Collaborate with primary care providers, therapists, and care teams to ensure continuity and quality of care 

• Provide crisis intervention and family education to improve outcomes and understanding 

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation to support coordinated, long-term care plans

🎯 Ideal Candidate Qualifications: 

• Active PMHNP license in CA

• Experience with geriatric psychiatry, long-term care, or mobile healthcare (preferred) 

• Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with elderly patients and their families 

• Comfortable working independently with remote support
