River Region Psychiatry Associates, www.rrpa.us, is the fastest growing private practice in the southeastern United States. We are currently looking for a PMHNP for the Myrtle Beach, SC market. This is a PRN opportunity for occasional weekend coverage in an onsite IP setting.

Requirements

• Must possess a minimum of a Master of Science in Nursing
• Those six years are composed of a 4-year undergraduate nursing program followed by a 2-year nurse practitioner master's program that includes psychiatric nursing
• Must have a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
• Prior experience in providing mental health counseling services within a clinical setting
• Must possess a State License to practice Nursing and it must be in good standing
• Must possess the knowledge base in health promotion maintenance, advanced pathophysiology, advanced health assessment and pharmacology for advanced practice nurses
• Must have DEA/Prescriptive authority or be able to obtain
