For over 60 years, CareLink Community Support Services has been dedicated to helping people with disabilities to live in the community with dignity and independence. Our rehabilitation services and professional staff provide the support that people with serious mental illness, physical disabilities and other developmental challenges need to be active, productive members of their communities.

Salary:

Competitive Pay – Full-time annual salary starting at 200,000 and Part-time starting rate of $200/hour 

About the Role:

We are seeking compassionate full-time and part-time Psychiatrists with a desire to grow to join our team. These positions will commute between our Media, PA and Norristown, PA offices and will be responsible for monitoring and assessing the psychiatric needs of CareLink’s new and current participants. The ideal candidate will provide initial and ongoing psychiatric evaluations and assessments, develop individualized care plans, offer medication management, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality mental health/behavioral health care to our participants.

What You’ll Do:

· Provide urgent psychiatric evaluations, initial evaluations and deliver ongoing psychiatric services for clients as appropriate. 

· Formulation of diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, dispositions and follow up care. 

· Recommend therapeutic treatment modalities (including medications), providing appropriate patient instruction and/or referrals, monitoring symptoms, progress of treatment and treatment response as appropriate.

· Manage the care of clients in collaboration with other health professionals and members of the health care team in order to make decisions about treatment and attain health goals.

· Be responsible for diagnostic clarity, psychopharmacology, and ongoing medication management for the treatment of psychiatric disorders.

· Consult clinic staff, clients, and other medical professionals to interpret clinical findings and assess courses of treatment.

· Attend, receive, and provide consultation in triage and team meetings. 

· Remain current in the field of psychiatry.

· Understand and implement trauma-informed care practices. Engage in collaborative community care, engage in outreach, and work with other agencies in support of the health needs of the clients.

Requirements

· Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.) from accredited school of medicine or osteopathy in the U.S. or valid M.D. degree from a foreign school with approval through the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) exam. 

· Completed an internship from an accredited graduate medical education program recognized by the AMA or AOA.

· Must be Board Certified and have completed a psychiatric residency in an accredited residency program.

· Must have a valid and current DEA certificate number and is eligible for enrollment in the PA Medical Assistance and Medicare programs.

· Must have personal transportation and driving insurance.

· Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel, and some billing experience is required; effectively review a range of reports and documentation and successfully develop written reports and documentation, as necessary.

· Excellent writing and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
