We take pride in our creative and collaborative work environment and in delivering clinically excellent, trauma-informed, recovery-oriented services.What are we looking for in a Psychiatrist?Psychiatrists at Comprehensive are part of a multidisciplinary team that provides integrated behavioral health treatment to clients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Collaborating with therapists, case managers, nurses and other members the treatment team, Psychiatrists assist in the development and implementation of an individualized treatment plan for each client. Taking ownership of the pharmacological intervention portion of treatment, our Psychiatrists complete psychiatric evaluations, prescribe appropriate medications, and provide general medical counseling & referrals. A regular day will consist of one or two psychiatric evaluations and 10-12 medication management appointments. This recruitment is for a psychiatrist on our Yakima campus. We have options for the psychiatrist to treat youth, adults, or a mixture depending on interest, client volumes, and board certifications.
