Psychiatrist in PA.
1 year clinical experience working with adults with mental illness and developmental disabilities (Dually Diagnosed).
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of dually diagnosed individuals, recovery principles and recovery driven service system.
Professional credentials should be current as dictated by the State licensing standards and Professional Licensing Board.
Valid PA Driver's License and appropriate state and federal clearances.
Must have current PA DEA.

Merakey is looking for a

Psychiatrist at our facility in

Pittsburgh, PA.

Merakey’s Dual Diagnosis Treatment Team (DDTT) is a community-based program, providing treatment, support, and education to adults dually diagnosed with both a mental illness and intellectual development disability . Individuals referred are in crisis, at risk of losing community tenure, and/or are transitioning from acute care hospitalization.
DDTT is comprised of a specialized mobile team of professionals including a Psychiatrist, Behavioral Specialist, Recovery Coordinators, Psychiatric Nurse, and Pharmacist. The Psychiatrist will drive the clinical treatment medication management, sign off on treatment plans, complete initial and re-evaluations.
Services are delivered in a combination of face to face, office based, and telehealth where permitted to support individual need.
Schedule:

10 to 12 hours per week, ideally Monday, Wednesday and Friday
Part time employed Physician or 1099 contractor are available.
