Penndel Mental Health Center is a non profit community based mental health agency located in Langhorne. We are seeking candidates to join our team of professionals who are passionate about working with individuals diagnosed with mental illness, intellectual disability, or drug and alcohol addiction. Our focus is to foster a culture of collaboration, respect and personal growth.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Performs psychiatric evaluations for the purpose of diagnosing the presence of mental illness and ongoing treatment planning. Psychiatric evaluations are scheduled as per agency protocol.
Prescribes medication as indicated and appropriate and conducts regular medication monitoring visits. Medication visits are scheduled four (4) per hour.
Monitors progress of treatment of an assigned caseload of clients, and make appropriate referrals to other services as needed and indicated.
Uses PMHC’s certified Electronic Health Record (EHR) software and technology program in a manner that meets the meaningful use requirements of the HITECH ACT.
Collaborates with members of the clinical/nursing/support staff, outside agency representatives, family members, and other appropriate persons regarding the treatment and status of shared clients.

Part time opportunity available. Must have MD License and Drug and Alcohol experience preferred.
