Schedule: 1st shift, 8-hour shifts including weekdays and weekends
Start Date: Within 2 weeks
Contract Length: 13 weeks (with possibility to extend)
Guaranteed Hours: 40/week
Weekly Gross: $4,040

Job Overview:
We are seeking a licensed Psychologist for a full-time contract assignment in a correctional facility in Leavenworth, KS. This role is responsible for planning, implementing, and directing psychological service programs for an incarcerated population. Candidates must be confident working in secure environments and meet all ICE clearance requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments through clinical interviews and chart reviews
• Develop, implement, and modify treatment plans based on individual needs
• Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and mental health support
• Monitor and document treatment activities and outcomes in medical records
• Make rounds in segregation or high-security units to assess mental well-being
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, and other care providers
• Participate in interdisciplinary case reviews and treatment planning
• Apply evidence-based psychological practices tailored to the correctional setting

Requirements:

• Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited institution
• Active, unrestricted license to practice psychology in Kansas
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, including at least 1 year in a similar role
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid drivers license required
• U.S. Citizenship required for ICE clearance (expedited process available)
• ICE Clearance Screening Form required with submission
• Must reside at least 70+ miles away from the facility
• Must be able to start within 2 weeks
• Must have open availability, including weekends and holidays
• No RTO (Requested Time Off) allowed during the assignment

Preferred:

• Experience in correctional, forensic, or institutional psychology
• Active AHA BLS certification
