Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts weekly

Start Date: Within 2 weeks

Contract Length: 13 weeks (with possibility to extend)

Guaranteed Hours: 36-40/week

Weekly Gross: $4,730

Job Overview:

We are seeking a licensed Psychologist for a full-time contract assignment in a correctional facility in Natchez, MS. This role involves providing comprehensive mental health services to an incarcerated population and requires comfort in secure environments.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological screenings, assessments, and clinical interviews with inmates
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, and other clinical staff
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans
• Provide mental health counseling, crisis intervention, and behavior management support
• Monitor and assess mental health status in segregated housing units
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and behavioral reviews

Requirements:

• Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited institution
• Active, unrestricted license to practice psychology in the state where practice occurs
• Minimum 2 years clinical experience (including 1 year in a similar setting)
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid driver's license
• Must reside 70+ miles away from the facility
• Must be able to start within 2 weeks
• No RTO (Requested Time Off) allowed during assignment
• Must have open availability, including weekends and holidays
• ICE clearance required (U.S. citizenship mandatory); not required for submittal but must be obtained before start (can take 60+ days)

Preferred:

• Experience in correctional or forensic environments
• Active AHA BLS certification
