We have a new opening for a full time Psychologist - Primary Care Behavioral Health at the Keesler Medical Center, Keesler Air Force Base, MS.
The type of work may include, but is not limited to, the following:
Core Duties:
• Practice within the guidelines of their state licensing board, American Psychological Association Ethical Principles and Code of Conduct, and facility privileges.
• Conduct psychological evaluations utilizing information from clinical interviews, psychological testing, and collateral sources, as appropriate.
• Establish psychiatric diagnoses according to the American Psychiatric Association Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Disorders.
• Provide psychological treatment for individuals and groups; help medical and surgical patients deal with illnesses or injuries.
• Assist in rehabilitation of patients.
Additional Duties:
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 9 hours between 7:00am and 5:00pm, with a one-hour lunch break
No Call!
No Weekends!
No Holidays!
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an American Psychology Association accredited college or university with a doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology..
Internship/Residency: Successful completion from an internship in psychology accredited by the American Psychological Association.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years post-grad experience within the past 3-years as a licensed clinical psychologist performing evidence-based clinical treatment in an outpatient clinic or hospital
License: Active, unrestricted license to practice as a Clinical Psychologist from any state. Exception: If the candidate is unlicensed, but a recent graduate (12 months or less) of an APA accredited doctoral program, s/he can be considered for this position contingent upon attaining state licensure within 12-months of the hire date. If licensure is not obtained within the 12 month time frame, the individual will be deemed unqualified for this position.
Life Support Certification: Possess a current AHA or ARC BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
Security: Must possess ability to pass a Government background check/security clearance.

Excellent Compensation & Exceptional Comprehensive Benefits:
Base salary: $67.00 - $80.00/hr as W2 employee, depending on experience, or $118.00/hr as 1099 contractor.
Sign-on Bonus: $10,000 payable with first paycheck!
