The Assistant Women’s Softball Coach serves as a key member of the women’s softball program and assists the Head Coach in all aspects of operating a successful NCAA Division II program. Responsibilities include recruiting, player development, academic monitoring, game preparation, practice planning, scouting, compliance, and administrative duties while supporting the mission and values of the institution and the athletic department.

CPR, First Aid, and AED certification required upon hire.

Strong oral and written presentation skills. Ability to work well independently and as a member of a team. Must be able to read, write and speak fluently in English.
Physical Demands
The work environment is an athletic and office setting which requires the ability to travel much of the time, work long hours including evenings and weekends, be physically active, able to lift up to 50 pounds, and have the ability to demonstrate specific skills. Ability to travel frequently and work flexible hours, including nights and weekends. Ability to demonstrate softball drills and participate in on-field instruction.
