Stop & Shop Seafood & Meat Job Description

Stop & Shop’s Seafood & Meat, where associates help customers get what they need while supporting the community Stop & Shop. These positions are available part-time, and may include clerking in the seafood, meat, or deli departments.

Typical Responsibilities

  Customer Service: Greet customers, answer questions, and assist with product selection in the seafood and meat sections

  Product Handling: Prepare, display, and maintain fresh seafood and meat items according to quality and safety standards.

  
  


• 
  

  Inventory & Stocking: Restock shelves, organize displays, and ensure proper storage conditions.

  Cash Handling: Process transactions accurately using cash, credit, and debit cards 

  
  


• 
  

  Order Fulfillment: Assist with in-store orders, including seafood and meat items, and prepare for delivery or pickup.

  
  


• 
  

  Safety & Compliance: Follow health and safety protocols, including proper food handling and storage.

  
  


• 
  

  Team Support: Help other associates, maintain cleanliness, and contribute to a positive in-store environment.
