PT Doorman - Prince Street - Room for Advancement

Marc Jacobs International, powered by the creative genius of Marc Jacobs, seeks a part-time Doorman to join its Prince Street location in New York, New York. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Stand at the entrance of the store contributing to security measures and providing basic assistance to guests. 

• Facilitate the flow of traffic in and out of the store.  

• Engage guests, and act as an ambassador of the brand in both personality and knowledge.  

• Upkeep of facade/outdoor appearance of the store (not limited to sweeping, window maintenance) 

• Provide an effective deterrent to theft through customer engagement and a professional and knowledgeable presence.  

• Perform other duties as assigned. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2+ years Doorman or related experience 

• Excellent communication skills and sound judgement 

• Previous experience in security, hospitality, or customer service strongly preferred.  

• This position is a part-time role. As such, and in order to meet our business needs, it is essential that you are available to work a minimum of three (3) weekdays per week and open availability on one (1) day every weekend

SALARY & BENEFITS/WHAT WE OFFER: 

The compensation for this position ranges from $23 to $25 per hour. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidate’s relevant skills and experience.
