PT House Manager

Description

Under the supervision of the Program Director, the House Manager is responsible for maintaining a structured and safe environment during the over-night hours, provide crisis intervention, and perform brief counseling (if needed) during their tour. The House manager cannot leave the building during their tour of duty. The Residents must be monitored 24 hours a day 365 days per year.

responsibilities and Duties:

• The House Manager is responsible for maintaining a structured and safe environment during the overnight hours, weekends, and holidays.
• Provide crisis intervention and brief counseling services (if needed) for residents enrolled in Brownsville Community Residential Center (BCRC).
• Document all pertinent activities in the communication logbook during his/her tour of duty.
• Every hour the part-time House Manager must tour the entire facility.
• The House Manager is responsible for always carrying a Narcan Kit.
• Breathalyze or obtain a urinalysis from Residents when suspected a Resident has relapsed.
• Must effectively communicate with Program Director or Assistant Program Director when needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/or its equivalent.
• Prior experience working with a diverse population.
• Must be able to walk up four flights of stairs.
