Key Responsibilities

• Identify member needs through active listening and thoughtful questioning beyond the immediate transaction. 
• Strengthen relationships by recognizing returning members and personalizing service whenever possible. 
• Represent Trax’s service culture through enthusiasm, empathy, and professionalism. 
• Accurately process member cash and check transactions in person and through the mail. 
• Maintain proper security and cash control, including checks and other negotiable instruments.
• Complete balancing reports and required documentation within established timeframes. 
• Maintain a strong working knowledge of credit union products and services and recommend solutions that meet member needs. 
• Conduct member follow-up calls to strengthen relationships and identify additional opportunities.
• Promote and protect the interests of the credit union at all times.
• Perform all duties in compliance with regulatory requirements, including the Bank Secrecy Act.

• Minimum of six (6) months of customer service and/or cash handling experience, preferably in a financial institution
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Position Type & Hours

This is a part-time position. Hours vary based on a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Occasional extended hours or weekends may be required based on business needs. Occasional travel to other branches or for training may be required.
