Public Area Attendant

We’re hiring a Public Area Attendant for a beautiful hotel in the heart of College Park, MD. This role plays a key part in maintaining a clean, polished, and welcoming atmosphere throughout the hotel’s public spaces. From lobbies to restrooms and everything in between, you’ll ensure that all guest-facing areas are spotless, safe, and up to brand standards.

Responsibilities for Public Attendant:

• Maintain cleanliness of all public areas, including lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairwells, restrooms, and fitness areas.


• Replenish towels, tissues, and other supplies in public spaces.


• Empty trash receptacles and maintain sanitation standards.


• Respond quickly to guest requests and report maintenance issues to management.


• Operate housekeeping equipment safely and responsibly.


• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation policies.

Qualifications for Public Attendant:

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial work preferred.


• Strong attention to detail and pride in cleanliness.


• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.


• Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and holidays.


• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
