Position Summary  

One Source is seeking dependable, detail-oriented Public Area Cleaners to join our housekeeping team in Truckee. As a Public Area Cleaner, you'll play a key role in upholding the high standards our clients expect. Keeping lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and common spaces clean, safe, and welcoming while delivering professional, courteous service every step of the way.  

Responsibilities  

• Clean and maintain lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairwells, restrooms, fitness areas, and other common spaces  

• Vacuum carpets, sweep, mop, and polish floors throughout public areas  

• Dust and wipe down furniture, railings, windows, glass, and décor  

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, fixtures, door handles, elevator buttons, and other high-touch surfaces  

• Empty trash and recycling receptacles and replace liners  

• Restock restroom supplies, including paper products, soap, and amenities  

• Spot clean spills and respond promptly to cleaning needs throughout the property  

• Report maintenance concerns, damages, lost-and-found items, and safety hazards  

• Maintain assigned carts, supplies, and equipment  

• Complete assigned areas within established productivity and quality standards  

• Follow all safety procedures, chemical-handling requirements, and company policies  

• Respond professionally to guest requests, communicate concerns to leadership, and support additional housekeeping duties as assigned  

Qualifications  

• Previous hotel, resort, timeshare, or janitorial/housekeeping experience  

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness  

• Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks on time  

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, push, pull, and lift throughout the shift  

• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds and operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums and floor machines  

• Open availability, including weekends and holidays
