Job Description - Public Health Nurse

Position Summary

The Public Health Nurse will support the Nurse Outreach Program by providing field-based care and assessments to individuals experiencing homelessness, ensuring quality and compassionate health services across NYC.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate public health risks in field settings

• Educate clients on health promotion and prevention

• Coordinate with agencies for long-term care plans

Required Qualifications

• RN license with public health experience

• Knowledge of NYC health systems

• Excellent outreach and community-building skills

Compensation: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
